Pakistani Cricket Team Has Won The ICC Champion Trophy, Finally An Achievement



The ICC Champion trophy was the 8th Champion Trophy where eight top-ranked one day international (ODI) teams were participating. The ICC Champion Trophy was held in England and Wales. It was started from 1st June and ended on 18 June 2017. Among eight ICC ODI teams only two teams reached to finale and that were Pakistan and India and the location was historical ground of Ovel, London where Pakistani team had already won the under nineteen champion trophy against India. Once again Pakistani Team has won the final competition against India over 180 runs at the same Ovel ground. It was a huge victory for the Pakistani team under the leadership of Youngest Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Sarfraz Ahmed Become National Hero

Sarfaraz Ahmed a wicketkeeper batsman plays international Cricket for the Pakistan became a national hero and Twenty20 international captain for the entire nation after leading to ICC Champion Trophy Victory. He is the one who helped the team to won the ICC Champion Trophy 2017 For the Pakistan. He is holding the position of Captain after Azhar Ali.

After winning the ICC Champion Trophy Final Competition at the Ovel ground, all Pakistan team players put their heads on the ground in the form of Sajdah to Allah Almighty which showed us that day and made the whole nation felt proud.

When Team came back to Pakistan, whole nation welcomed Sarfaraz Ahmed as a hero. Government Officials and Mayer of Karachi welcomed him in a traditional Sindhi style with Ajrak and cap .when he drove the car in the street towards his home there was a huge crowed of friends,neighbours ,fans and well-wishers  climbed on the rooftop and balconies to watch him return.They showered rose petals on him carrying Champion Trophy, crowd raised the voices of saying “Long Live Sarfaraz”.Sarfaraz came out in balcony carrying Trophy and showed it off to fans, and making the victory sign with two fingers.

Sarfaraz said it was the remarkable performance and hard work of whole team. The whole team consists of young and new players. They were playing the ICC event 2017 for the first time. Pakistani team has new talent such as Fakhar Zaman, Roman Raees, Shadab Khan, Hassan Ali, and Fahim Ashraf. He also said the of way of Hassan Ali played made him man of the tournament and the explosive opener Fakhar Zaman played very well. It is a good sign for the youngsters and the whole team. Whole team enjoyed the remarkable victory after losing the first opening match against India. Before entering in home he sang victory jingle about Pakistan widespread victory “Long live Pakistan”.
